The Social Vision
Creator privacy notice
Last updated 14 September 2026
What we collect
We collect the contact, appearance, experience, skills, portfolio media, social links, availability and filming information you submit. We also keep operational notes and communication history needed to manage opportunities.
How we use it
We use this information to operate the TSV creator network, assess suitability for briefs, contact you about opportunities and prepare selected profile information for relevant clients. A core purpose of the network is to make approved creator profiles discoverable to suitable clients through TSV’s current or future creator platform.
A future platform or product name
The creator platform may launch under a different product or trading name. Unless we tell you otherwise, The Social Vision remains responsible for your information. A name change does not broaden how we may use it. If the purpose or controller changes materially, we will update this notice and tell you before that new use begins.
What clients can see
Only approved profile information is shared: your name, general location, appearance and casting details, skills, languages, experience, selected portfolio media, professional or social links, availability and filming capabilities. Your email address, phone number, self-tapes submitted for casting, internal notes, communication history and private content boundaries are kept in TSV’s internal view.
Our legal bases and your choices
We rely on our legitimate interests in administering the creator network, matching creators with suitable clients, securing and improving the service, and presenting approved professional profiles for relevant opportunities. We may also process information to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract, or to meet a legal obligation. You can ask us to unpublish your profile or remove you from the network at any time; we will consider and action the request subject to any information we must retain for legal or contractual reasons.
Who receives it
Authorised TSV staff can manage your complete record. Relevant clients receive only profiles TSV deliberately publishes to their account or, where applicable, profiles covered by your discovery choice. Hosting, database, email, analytics and media-storage providers process information for us under appropriate safeguards. We do not make private contact details openly available or sell them as a contact list.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use an applicable adequacy decision or contractual and organisational safeguards required by data-protection law.
Retention and your rights
We keep your profile while it is active in the network and only as long as reasonably needed for business, legal and safeguarding records. You may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, transfer or object to use of your information, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful use. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Contact
For privacy questions, to ask us to unpublish your profile or to exercise your rights, contact your usual TSV representative or The Social Vision through its published business contact details.
